      Idk, I kinda get it. Most people alive haven’t really seen a real war in Europe in their lifetime. It’s easy to imagine how a lot of people fear the idea of neo liberalism failing to prevent conflict so close to home.

      These are likely the same people who swore up and down that Russia was never going to actually invade, all the way up until the day of the offensive.

      I think a lot of the boomers in the west just assumed they had finally solved the natural order of geopolitics, and just assumed everything was all down hill from here. I think a large percent of the western population is incapable of recognizing the paradigm shift currently occurring in governments across the globe.
