    inb4 some idiot comments on how it’s Xinhua and thus propaganda, when the news is literally China announcing sanctions and Xinhua is literally about as primary a source as you can find

    Good. The US “defense” industry should not be conducting business with China to begin with.

    That sounds perfectly reasonable, just like sanctions against other countries that are doing something the sanctioning countries don’t like.

      Reading comprehension is not your strength, I see. China did not sanction any countries. They sanctioned arms dealers and manufacturers. There’s a big difference. Sanctioning countries is collective punishment of civilians. Sanctioning weapons companies reduces the total addressable market those companies can sell to.
