This company wasn’t exactly targeted. It could have happened to literally anyone.

So this looks like it’s based in Java code.
A public class means that any bit of Java code, including that injected by an attacker, can see and mess with the contents of that class.
A private class, in contrast, means that other bits of Java code are restricted to running the class’s predefined functions.
In theory it is supposed to help with the security of the data. In practice if an attacker gets to this point, you’ve got much bigger issues.
I honestly have no idea what kind of aneurysm it takes to draw that from what I wrote
Yes, that would be an unhinged take. Good thing that it’s also nothing close to what I wrote. Try actually reading what you reply to and not strawmanning.
I literally said that they’re not punishing him for rape. What they do to him now will be what they do to all journalists publishing things the military doesn’t like.
I give a fuck about what happens to him because he’s being punished as a journalist, not as a rapist.
If you think this will stop at journalists who happen to be rapists, you are sorely mistaken. At this point we’re basically legalising treatment not that far from Kashoggi for journalists who handle military leaks, even the responsible, non-rapey ones.
Not to mention, they kicked out Russia for the war in Ukraine
That performance was peak Eurovision though! I have never been so entertained by an entry before!
Both options would have been collosal twats about this. It’s still valid to call the person currently being a twat about it a twat.
Nah but it does make people believe it
Because people are stupid/closeted homophobes
Lab grown meat sounds like a good solution to the problem
Remember that murders have been pinned on innocents for a long time. With your logic, we would have condemned Barry George to death for the murder of Jill Dando, despite it turning out he was innocent.
It’s clearly not the lowest possible bar though?
Absolutely, it is a masterpiece in grim satire.
Satire isn’t supposed to be fluffy and cute.
Correct but it cannot take the place of news either, because the purpose of satire is to twist, exaggerate and fictionalise things to send a message. The purpose of the news is to report the facts as is.
The reason satire articles should not be on a news magazine is because these twisted and exaggerated facts can be mistaken for the unfiltered truth.
Satire is not reporting, any more than editorial and opinion articles. It is about sending a message, not reporting the facts.
Amazing if harrowing satire, but I don’t think Onion articles should be on worldnews. The Onion does satire, not actual newspieces.
The fear is that there is pressure for peace talk conditions to be less than fair to Ukraine, that this would be little more than appeasement of Russia, like what happened with Czechoslovakia in the 1930s
I know right?! I thought it would be a favourite!
