Just assume all politicians are evil robots, that will only do what’s in their best interests. Once you see things that way, it becomes easier to navigate the world.

If there were no police or insane counter protestors it would have been easy for the media to ignore. Like how many days in a row can you have a segment that’s basically like “Let’s go down the ground, yup protestors are still here… back to you” before the audience gets bored

It’s not surprising to me. There is no more “news” anymore, it’s all opinions at this point. Usually not good opinions either, it’s all just a carefully crafted narrative or crafted to generate outrage.

This is why I think things like Tiktok are actually useful. I don’t know another place to easily find 24/7 live video of the protests.

No one is saying to stop space activity. All of that could be done through government agency if we really wanted to. Inefficiency doesn’t come from some nebulous bureaucracy, it comes from actually observing regulations and taking safety and environmental considerations into account.

If space is that important for humanity, than you may as well suspend the regulations. All a corporation is doing is skirting those regulations and acting as a middle man to collect some money for doing so. Adding profit does not make an organization more efficient, as it means money is going to things that don’t support space.
