  • No one made that claim. It’s funny that that is what you backpedal to when you are proven wrong, though.

Both were brought into the government military. And, when Zelensky ordered them away from the front lines in order to comply with the Minsk accords to end the war, which is what Zelensky ran on, by the by, they refused those orders.

The Nazi elements weren’t pegged from them, either. If they have gone down, it is due to the high casualty rates.

But, all of that is immaterial.

You made a wrong claim, it was proven false, and you just moved the goalposts to other wrong claims.

You’re either arguing in bad faith and a paid propagandist, or you’re one of those unfortunate souls incapable of admitting when they are wrong. For your personal life I hope it is the former.

  • This you?

I truly beleive that this falls under sacrificing yourself to save lives

Nope. Wrong continent for that. Now if he was on active duty in the IDF you would have an argument.

    Yep, that’s you.

Anyone justifying the IDF’s actions is cheerleading an intentional genocide. You are cheerleading the intentional murder of over 15,000 children, so far.

Now that starvation is hitting, those numbers are going to ramp up fast.

Remember, starvation kills the children of a population first. There is no food in the Gaza Strip because Israel is intentionally blocking its entrance at the Rafah border.

Here you are, a month later, still justifying genocide and subtly trying to absolve Israel of genocide.

Stop pretending you care about the people starving. It’s disingenuous, and everyone can see what you are doing.

  • Stories like this make me sad for the awareness of what war is and how it works that people don’t seem to have.

It was required for Ukraine to hold either Bakhmut or Adviivka to hold the Donetsk region.

Losing both inevitably meant a long series of withdrawals against an enemy with a significant artillery advantage and glide bomb advantage.

It’s flat as a fucking pancake. Of course they’re going to have to fall back to a defensible position. But that particular region doesn’t have any.

    1. I wasn’t responding to the OP, I was responding to you.

    2. Anserallah has been very consistent with what does they will ‘attack’. Another word for it would be that they are enforcing sanctions. They are consistently attacking ships supporting or owned by Israel, and ships affiliated with the US or UK, who are supporting Israel and bombing Yemen. Your comment is trying to imply that Anserallah’s actions are for some other reason. The number of ships passing through the Red Sea that don’t violate Yemen’s conditions say otherwise.

    3. Most of your comment are subtly critical of anyone critical of Israel. Or rather, they’re trying to be subtle. They are not. Your bias is obvious, and it is in defense of a country, the country responsible for the above publication for example, that is actively committing genocide.

  • That’s the point of ‘The Banality of Evil’ and the Milgram experiments.

There is nothing special or different about the Israelis, or for that matter the Nazis. They were normal people.

The only silver lining about the Milgram experiments is that they showed that if people were aware that the default nature of human beings was to follow orders, no matter how horrible, they would be inoculated, somewhat, to following those orders.

Please note, Israel is committing an unjustified horrible fucking genocide. None of this is an excuse for that. But you better recognize that there isn’t too much that differentiates you from those snipers, because if you don’t recognize that then you could be one of them in the future.

  • Good job moving the goal posts. Or, did you think we wouldn’t notice?

I didn’t say he’s unpopular, though he is. In fact, he’s the most unpopular president at this point in his presidency in US history, since polling has been a thing. The reason Democratic voters “Like” him is because he isn’t Trump. They don’t actually like him for himself.

Trump, on the other hand, the people that want to vote for him REALLY want to vote for him.

Frankly, I think Biden is the only person the Democratic party could field that would lose to Trump. Conversely, I think anyone on the Republican side but Trump would beat Biden.

But, all of this is besides the point. You weren’t arguing that Biden was popular. You were arguing, and I quote:

Who did “the establishment” block from running? You want to go make Bernie run somehow or something? Get the conspiracy theory nonsense out of here. People choose whether or not they will run.

And it is kind of hard to run if you aren’t even on the fucking ballot. You also implied that people who recognize the public fact that 5 states have removed everyone but Biden from the primary ballot are conspiracy theorists when in fact, they’re just not ignorant of current events like you seem to be.
