Also, the fact that people don’t feel sorry for the filthy rich old man getting what is almost certainly an age related disease (because it’s not like he was exposed to the levels of shit food and air and stress that gives the rest of us cancer), is wild to you, but the existence of a “god appointed” ruler that leeches off of his people while they struggle to survive isn’t, says a lot more about you than me not giving much of a shit does about me…

I was happy for a second and then remembered that karma is a bad take and that he will be getting the absolute best available healthcare and even if he does die, he will be doing so having gotten to old age, in extreme luxury and in more comfort than any of us will ever experience.
I worry that if he does die soon it will only embolden royalist sentiment in this country as the grieving masses will cling on to the “young king” which the media will spin as “progressive” or whatever, and we’ll just keep getting further and further away from abolishing this disgusting establishment.
We seriously need a King Ralph type thing to happen, only the people take over, instead of a stereotypical American. Turn Buckingham palace in to a community centre with a kitchen and a shelter and childcare and a free mental health clinic, and put those gardens to actual use…

Data collected by the children’s commissioner found there were at least 2,847 recorded strip-searches of children (age 8-17) pre-arrest across England and Wales between 2018 and 2022 under stop and search powers…
The report released says 38% of children strip-searched were black. Black children make up 5.9% of the population, meaning they were six times over-represented. White children accounted for 42% of searches and make up 74% of the population.
The data was analysed for the Guardian by Dr Krisztián Pósch, a lecturer in crime science at University College London. It shows a black child in England and Wales was 11 times more likely to be strip-searched than their white counterparts…
One in a hundred strip-searches of children took place in public view, the report says, and 6% were conducted with an officer present of a different gender to the child being searched. Appropriate adults were not present in 52% of cases…

I’m not generally one to defend a MSM outlet, and I have many issues specifically with the Guardian, but in this case they have been publishing a lot about “how slavery changed the Guardian, Britain and the world”
Ban straws! (even though disabled people need them and they create negligible pollution)
Replace your car with an electric one! (even though it still works fine and will end up in landfill, never mind the environmental cost of producing the new one, or the source of the electricity it uses)
Reduce your carbon footprint! (even though its a term we invented ourselves to shift responsibility to you, while we fly our private jets around creating more pollution than you ever could in 10 lifetimes)
Recycle! (even though 90% of it ends up in landfill anyway because we don’t want to pay to actually recycle it)

Never forget - capitalists (and the governments they’re co-dependent on) only want more money, they don’t car about you or me or the planet, only about themsleves and the numbers in their accounts, and they will never willingly stop doing whatever it takes to make more.

I recently watched Beyond Utopia which featured a different pastor who helps people make it out of NK. He briefly goes in to the human trafficking aspect of the underground railroad, but even just seeing how it all happens, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that some of the “good guys” are also abusing those poor people, and not only those who are openly there to exploit them.
The only solution is to be rid of the dictators and states that create the conditions that not only enable but encourage this to happen, for their own gain.
