All these years, I’ve been expecting China to kick off World War III, and here we are now with it looking like it’ll be Russia or Israel. That’s not to say China’s not still in the running, but how things have changed.
All these years, I’ve been expecting China to kick off World War III, and here we are now with it looking like it’ll be Russia or Israel. That’s not to say China’s not still in the running, but how things have changed.
We all do it.
The article states that it has already happened in China and Korea, but not previously in Japan.
Good article. Hope they can get this archaic law changed soon.

“What’s particularly striking is the sluggishness in consumption and capital expenditure that are key pillars of domestic demand,” said Yoshiki Shinke, senior executive economist at Dai-ichi Life Research Institute.
I can’t imagine how anyone is surprised by this. Japanese goods have increased in price (inflation) for the first time in an extremely long time. As in, for the first time within many people’s memories. Of course they’re suddenly going to be more concerned about spending.
I’m just pointing out that whoever posted this decided intentionally to leave the Houthi part out of the headline.
*Houthis in Yemen
It’s a shame that this is necessary, but it’s good to see them working together for their mutual defense. It clearly is necessary.
Not every ship is heading to Israeli ports.
That’s what they say, but they have targeted the ships of countries which are not involved in the conflict.
I don’t see how them having won a war makes them immune to protest. People can support a government/group while still disapproving of certain actions.
For example, I overall approve of Joe Biden. However, I don’t approve of him sending weapons to Israel. Such nuance!
On Dec. 11, a Utair flight made an emergency landing because of a wing flap failure while carrying 104 passengers and 42 pounds of a radioactive substance, Russian media reported. A Utair plane flying from Moscow to Kogalym in the Khanty-Mansi region of Siberia signaled an emergency because of engine failure on Dec. 29.
TIL Russia uses commercial flights to transport radioactive materials.
You are naive and don’t understand complex situations.
Your comment makes no sense in the context of it being a reply to mine. I’m not saying to protest in favor of anyone–just against the ones who are bringing violence to their land.
They should be protesting against the Houthis for causing this by attacking merchant vessels uninvolved in the regional conflicts.
The Houthis are the ones attacking civilians and American warships alike. The international community tried to get them to stop for months before resorting to retaliation.
The article doesn’t go into it, but the scam is usually that these companies who do the work will demand payment from the new owner and possibly even be able to take out a lien on the house.
Should post to offbeat.
No, it’s your opinion.
