I don’t really see how that undermines anything, I just explained the abbreviation and mentioned how I mostly see it used. The only group I see screeching about how the “mainstream media” is biased against them is the far right.

Main-Stream Media. Usually used by the far right to refer to centrist publications/broadcasters.
Edit: not intending to say that the GP is far-right, and I completely agree that it makes no sense for anyone to support Israel here.
