And not just liquid wealth.
Own stocks? Pay a tax on their value at time of purchase, updating every year from that day.

Testing and stuff probably does by a tiny fraction, because they need to use insane amounts of power to get it started which is probably produced by coal/oil.
But once it’s actually working and producing more power than it consumes it will be the best solution to stopping greenhouse gases for energy production. It would be the end of gas/oil/coal in the energy sector. Probably wouldn’t even need to use solar or wind anymore.
Ticks and mosquitos can go extinct, I wouldn’t care in the slightest.
Even if I made $100,000USD a year I’m not sure I would agree to massacre a hundred people for $200k.
I don’t think it would solve the world’s problems but I would totally be onboard capping lottery payouts to $1M.
I would rather see 500 people get a million dollars than one person get $500m in the Powerball.
Some cities would go dark and then a mile away have lanterns set up in the night over a large distance so planes would drop their bombs in a field instead of over the actual city, if I recall correctly.
I think it’s more a case of needing to be idiot proof and provide the correct answer every time. Some people using it may have been trained but they also may be absolutely useless at using technology. Google may be simple but it doesn’t give you exactly what you’re looking for and all the relevant information on the first attempt.
And least he got to be king first :P
I haven’t seen any new coins yet with his face on it. It may be the shortest run of coins with a new face. I’ve had the same face on my coins for my entire life, these will be the first with a new one.
At this point I’m surprised the entire population hasn’t signed up with Hamas
So what happens if north Korea launches a war? Do countries still send them food? If no, how do they expect to feed their troops?
If they can’t make a profit now I’m not sure how they expect to get more and more profits every year / quarter for the investors to pocket.
Imagine if all of a sudden everyone in the country’s bank account shrunk to 1/3 of what it was in a year. Can’t even imagine the consequences of that.
I hope they had their seat belt on
Because a ceasefire is just a temporary stop to fighting.
Why do people think ceasefire means some sort of permanent truce and end to war?
In world war one they had a ceasefire for Christmas. That lasted one day. Doesn’t matter how long it is, if it’s a temporary mutual agreement to stop fighting for whatever reason, it’s a ceasefire.
If it’s a permanent mutual agreement to stop, it’s a peace treaty.
Ukraine has only lost 10,000? Didn’t an article the other day just claim that Russia has lost almost 300,000?
If both claims are true that’s a wild difference between the two.
I wonder if it would be possible to require all future construction to be designed in a way that it could easily be switched between commercial/residential. Like each floor of an office building has to have plumbing roughed it to support x number of toilets/showers on each floor, stuff like that.
“Price of waging war…”
Indiscriminate bombardment of civilians is not “war” Joe, it’s fucking > terrorism and genocide.
Also the fact that Palestine didn’t wage war on Israel, Hamas did.
It’s like if America indiscriminately bombed and waged war on Afghanistan and Iraq instead of just the Taliban… Oh wait…
Mosquitos don’t really make up a large portion of bat diets. That myth came from a study years back when scientists were trying to figure out how bats located prey not what prey did bats target
They study involved releasing a bat into a room filled solely with mosquitos, and it ate a lot of them, but that’s because it was easy to do since it was a room loaded with mosquitos, and it was the only option for food that the bat had.
The media ran with it screaming “bats can eat a hundred mosquitos an hour!” Because it made a catchy headline moreso than the actual study results.
Mosquitos make up less than 3% of a bats diet, depending on the species it can be higher though.
Bats typically prefer to eat larger insects such as moths, since it’s more calories for the effort and they are slower and easier to find than mosquitos.
Careful EU, with how they are leveraging NATO I imagine they will try the same thing once in the EU. Is it as difficult to kick a country out of EU as it is to kick one out of NATO?
It’s because Democrats don’t worship Biden as some Jesus reborn patriot whereas Republicans worship a literally prideful, envious, slothly, wrathful, greedy, gluttonous, and lustful old man as some Jesus reborn candidate.
