Any evidence Wikileaks withheld info about the right? They release info that’s leaked to them. If Russia used Wikileaks to further their own agenda, that’s not a Wikileaks problem (as long as the information is accurate).

My understanding is that, while it’s likely the source of those leaks was Russia, it’s never been proven wikileaks withheld info about Republicans. I’ve seen the claims dozens of times, but never the evidence, so please share if you do… Otherwise, it’s insane to hate a journalist for withholding information they don’t have, just because it hurts your preferred political party.

FYI I asked the same thing on Reddit about a dozen times over the last decade, and the result was always the same — If your position is “I can find no evidence for my claims, and don’t know why I hate WikiLeaks or Assange. I just do.” then you’re probably a psychological warfare victim…

If the western political classes hadn’t corruptly subsidized the fossil fuel oligarchy with trillions of dollars since WW2, the west would be leading the world in clean energy tech. Instead, exactly as expected, the same politicians and oligarchs who made fossil fueled warming an existential threat to life on Earth are continuing to hamstring the clean energy transition and deflect blame, by screaming “China bad”.
The corporate oligarchy would prefer to sow the seeds of fascism, nationalism, and xenophobia than allow legitimate democracy, make fewer profits, or give workers a fair share. They proved that when they outsourced as much as possible to China, and other authoritarian states.
It’s in the past bro. It’s not like the government would let corporations get away with a chemical weapons attack on a civilian population nowadays.
The hilarious part is people believe the historic global human rights abusers of the US intelligence community are different today, despite zero evidence of any reforms since they were overthrowing democratically elected governments to benefit multinational corporations, murdering activists who stood up for non-whites and the working class, operating “black” torture sites, caught backdooring the worlds hardware and software information systems no different to the KGB or Gestapo, conducting biological and chemical weapons tests on its own citizens, etc etc etc.

The hilarious part is that the rule of law doesn’t apply to most high level “intelligence” and “national security” operations, and even if moves are made to apply it they just pass a new bill to make the historic crimes retroactively legal, so all of this is just showboating and won’t actually prevent superpowers from doing it anyway — there have never been any consequences remotely adequate to fit the crimes.

Yeah, the smiling seems more like desensitization. He doesn’t seem to promote, excuse or justify the crimes. He knows they were horrific.
War is hell. None are moral. The difference is that some are completely unjustifiable (e.g. aggression or imperialism vs self-defence). Human rights abuses, rape, murdering civilians, torture, and psychopathy are present in every single warzone in history, and committed by both sides; though the volume of crimes can be extremely lopsided.

I wouldn’t doubt the psychopathy of Boeings leadership — their execs and management have already murdered hundreds of people, and dozens of them should be serving life in prison — but dying of MRSA after 2 weeks of pneumonia sure sounds like a legitimate coincidence. The first whistleblowers death not so much.
Reminder that the police response at many of the few-hundred-strong college anti-genocide protests is larger than the police response to defend the capitol from thousands of MAGA’s who’d spent the presceding weeks discussing their plans to storm said capitol, and prevent the peaceful transfer of power, across social media.
The police are pro-authoritarianism and not there to “protect” the anti-genocide protesters — if they were they would show up with the peaceful “let it be” tactics they showed MAGA’s at most white nationalist demonstrations — so they facilitate the auth pro-zionist terrorism of anti-genocide protesters, before they terrorize those protesters themselves.
The pro-Israeli yelling “You don’t matter. Your lives don’t matter.” couldn’t be more on brand from a fascist genocide supporter.
