Be thankful it didn’t take an explosive shit.
Be thankful it didn’t take an explosive shit.
Should note this is not permanent. It’s only for the extent of the spending bill, which is until October, and can be easily removed from the spending bills after the election, when hopefully we have a more blue congress that won’t need to make these shitty concession just to fund the damn government.
I appreciate the imgur links and not direct images.
Honestly, the automatic datetime conversion is the worst part if you’re just trying to keep it text. It’s idiotic there isn’t a simple way to turn off that off. That’s not formatting, that’s actually changing the data in those cells which may not be what you want.
George Carlin was a great guy, terrific comedian, and pretty smart.
But nothing informs me more of someone’s else’s immaturity than holding him up as source of true wisdom.
He was always a simplistic, self-serving, a deeply cynical nihilist that went for the edgiest takes. So of course the internet loves him. But for people that are actually interested in solving problems rather than spending their lives bitching about it them, his words are empty.
We know the world sucks. Carlin had nothing to say about actually addressing it.
Not to be rude, but how was it not already at max? I feel like there’s some kind of shared amnesia around here, as if Meta hasn’t proven to the world hundreds of times over how terrible they are. It is genuinely baffling to see so many people act like they aren’t a tumor on the internet and the world in general.
God I love Technology Connections. He’s such a refreshingly passionate yet chill person, has absolutely no air of condescension, soft-spoken, excitable but not too much, thorough, and just generally pleasant. Very high quality while keeping it very low-key. Not the typical YouTube personality at all, and I love it.
Maybe the central problem is racing to put other people out of work period, regardless of who they are. Maybe putting people out of work is not a net benefit for society, it’s actually negative in the long run, and only truly a benefit for shareholders. They don’t need any more of those at the expense of the working class.
