agreed, but it’s hard to image the french letting russia have this win.

i’m guessing that, normally, the french empire would empire its way back into uranium access on favorable terms; but given the news that renewables have starting overtaking nuclear power in france and kazakhstan overtaking african uranium sources, i wonder if they’ll bother.
i’m betting that they will considering how badly they’re losing their proxy wars with russia in nearly all the african parts of the french empire and all of provocative rhetoric that macron has been leveraging against russia; particularly regarding ukraine; so maybe in a year or 2 we’ll be reading news articles of the old nigerian rebels suddenly overpowering the new nigerian government.
Man seeing US and EU automakers getting spanked like this comical but really pathetic…
i’ve learned recently some of the japanese & korean automakers have joined forces to respond to this new threat and i suspect they’re the only ones who have a chance at thriving in the next 10 to 20 years because of it.
Almost like we should focus on making the US better / competitive instead of trying to succeed by blocking others.
some japanese & korean automakers have teamed together to do that and i suspect that they’ll be ahead of the curve of whatever the markets look like 10 years from now; meanwhile the the us and western europe is going to rely on tariffs that will only leave their automakers less prepared for what’s coming.
they’re not reasons; they’re excuses and parroting them only serves to legitimize those excuses to those who don’t bother to pay attention.
yes, those subsidies are much more important that climate change and there’s no way that we subsidize and bail out our own auto industries and definitely not multiple times with zero strings attached.
primarily because both context switching and progress builds upon itself so stopping & switching has more impact than those 5 or 10 minutes suggests. (ie. you can stop a car from rolling down the hill with just one finger if you do it early enough but in reverse).
also standup meetings have a way of getting longer and covering more ground that what was initially planned for. (ie meeting mission creep)
Why not reach out to reach to each team member on a daily or semi daily basis to ask that question?
These meetings REALLY get in the way of progress and we’ve been killing it ever since our new manager started doing it like this
how long on the socialized medicine?
they also approved gay marriage and socialized medicine before we did & do
i think it’s more about a social media network that allows unfettered anti-gaza-genocide viewpoint sharing; but that’s definitely part of it too.
And if you get in their way, they’ll suicide you
fixed it for you
my car is 16 years old and it’s american made so i’m certain that’s it’s going to fail catastrophically very soon, so i need a new car and i want one of these; but i’ll have to wait atleast another 5 years for the 100% tariffs to abate. even then, there’s a good chance that there’ll be new tariffs.
i’ve already canceled this summer road trip because of the precariousness of my car’s functioning and i’ll have the cancel the rest from now on and it’s maddening considering how much money people can throw away on car trip helping turn this turd of an economy around; but we won’t do it simply because someone other than the united states or its puppets are profiting from it.
