Oh, lightbulb. I’m wildly bad at numbers even outside of math. Like I no longer trust myself to type even four digit ticket numbers by hand - copy paste only!
Maybe I’ve got a little bit of that

Reminds me of the old “how much does a tonne of feathers weigh?”
I mean some people just freeze up around numbers. That’s not the end of the world as long as they know that they suck at that.
Like I’m a programmer and I’m like comically bad at math. Like 3 Stooges bad. If I’m forced to do math on the spot I will expand a lot of energy figuring out exactly the wrong thing.
Sure they do. They just come with exciting, new problems
Sometimes a change is as good as a rest

Damn neoliberalism, made the conservative ethos more palatable and confusing 😪
Rofl reminds me of an acquaintance saying how anyone can be discriminated against (true), “like me,” they went on, “for being tall and blonde” (that’s not really…)
Senior more like seen-enough-of-your-shit
You could secretly take 90% and I’m convinced they wouldn’t even notice in their day to day
There wasn’t any let or const when I got into it hahaa
Good ol’ jQuery - never thought I’d hear that
I came from a cpp background and loved it the moment I saw it. Like, you mean I just go var foo = ...
and then I can put anything? No type casting?? No types??? Finally, I was free.
But I’ve always been more of a hacker than a real programmer. I’ve since learned that there are advantages to using types, static checking, etc…
It is interesting, I got a promotion pretty much exactly when I started using light modes (farewell DarkReader, my beloved).
I am excited by this title
