  • Great points.

Didn’t Jenny McCarthy leverage Andrew Wakefield’s research for her position, though? Because I feel like that’s when it started becoming “mainstream”.

I’d say it was during the pandemic that it went crazy though. Actually mainstream, where parents stopped asking each other “Where do you take your baby for their boosters?”, and started asking “So are you choosing to vaccine your baby?”…

  • Did they just now redefine the word?

What is the new definition, and why didn’t it apply to Israel before?

Does that mean that anything not meeting the new definition of evil is no longer considered evil?

This title sounds really stupid. There are many better ways to get the point across without saying something untrue/nonsensical.

And beyond that, who really needs to be told that it’s evil to massacre starving civilians who are queuing for bread? …and since the headline says “yet More”, I guess when Israel did it the first time, it wasn’t evil (at least not by this new definition), since it was this time that resulted in the redefinition.

  • I guess I don’t understand completely Lemmy, because some lib is calling me a Russian troll under this comment and I can’t see it unless I go to the original/non-hexbear post

I think that was common on Reddit, too.

It usually means they replied and blocked you, or deleted their comment later. (Or it got deleted by a mod)

It’s people who have the mentality that the last word wins the argument, especially since anyone else who reads the comment chain would think you had nothing to say in response.
