A lot of premise based on the need for the EU to trade with Asia. Except the EU is actively trying to move away from these autocracies. Not because they are biased, but it is showing that supporting these regimes is proving to be a danger to world security. The more money these people have the more they are using it to finance military might, and then using that might on their neighbours.
Europe is extremely far away from the South/East Asian powers. They basically have no interests in the region because the people there didn’t want the Europeans.
