Also, nuclear fuel is not renewable. There is a finite amount.
Imagine future generations hearing about the idiots who wanted to throw the barely used uranium into the sun.

I’m just pointing out the absurdity of a company pointing at company policies as an explanation for why something is impossible…
they said they cannot do anything since it’s company policy.
…have they tried?
A death sentence is always excessive.
Fraud should be punished heavily though. Someone or several someones probably already died as a consequence of that money missing in the system. I’m not sure if a long jail sentence would be much better, with her being 67 it’s a death sentence either way.
In my opinion they ought to follow the money. It’s impossible for these amounts to just disappear or to have been used by her. It would make sense to keep her alive if there’s any chance of recovering more of that lost money. But maybe that’s the point.
When I started working in the late 90s early 00s, every company had their own It-department. These days it’s just some consultant or subscription to another company offering their consultants to do specific tasks.
This thread reminds me of why having an IT department makes good sense financially - today.
You can add up all the salaries, equipment and training costs and it’ll still be cheaper than wasting time and money in meetings with consultants trying to either explain the task or moan about pricing.
Shit doesn’t work, because they aren’t paid to make shit work.
I can make code that works for me and I can make code that works for you. The price is different, but you also need to know what you actually want it to do, and I don’t know how much money you are willing to sacrifice for us both fumbling around in that equation.
It already is and has been for the last decade.

Honestly… clean code can be hard to read. It’s sometimes easier to recognise certain parts in shitty code because it has a more distinctive appearance.
'Tis but a hull scratch.
Name the cell “myPi” and use that instead of the Pi function.
Can’t you just type in the digits of the Pi that you want to use in some cell and then refer to that cell instead of using the default Pi?
5 is mathematically a “round-up” number. If you want your numbers to behave differently I think you’d be better off using a different function.
Tragic all around. I can’t imagine what went through his head there, but I surely wouldn’t want to be in a position where this seems like the only solution.
I’d turn it around. The only reason gas cars are still sold in USA is because the gas is ridiculously cheap.
I know and it’s an interesting video. It’s just that I’ve seen that suggestion posted seriously more often than it should be.
